Microsoft published a new insider build 14379 of Windows 10 called "Anniversary Update" for PC and Microsoft phones with some new features and awesome fixes.

According to Microsoft blog Here’s what’s new in Build :

Improvements and fixes for PC

  • We fixed an issue where the size of the Credential UI might not be big enough to display the contents on a PC with High DPI.
  • We fixed an issue where Action Center might crash after dismissing a large number of notifications.
  • We fixed an issue where Centennial app launches from Start or Cortana wouldn’t count towards those apps bubbling up in Start’s “Most used” list.
  • We fixed an issue where no note would have keyboard focus after minimizing then reopening the Sticky Notes app.

Improvements and fixes for Mobile

  • We fixed an issue that could result in a stray focus rectangle becoming visible in certain apps, such as Groove or Cortana, after bringing up the keyboard.
  • We fixed an issue where the aspect ratio of images on live tile wasn’t preserved if they need to be shrunk, leading to them appearing stretched.

Known issues for PC

  • Using Continuum from your phone on your PC via the Connect app will not work. This should be fixed in the next build.
  • Known issues for Mobile

  • You can open PDFs in Microsoft Edge but won’t be able to use touch to interact with the PDF (such as scrolling, pan or zoom). When you try to use touch to interact with a PDF, it will constantly reload the PDF.

Hello guys, in this post I am going to talk about disk Defragmentation am how this instruction can help you to improve your computer performance.

Iobit Smart Defrag 4

What is Defragmentation?

Defragmentation is a process that reduces the amount of fragmentation in your hard disk so It does this by organizing the contents of the mass storage device used to store files into the smallest number of contiguous regions (fragments).

This does not mean that your files will be moved from their real place in your operating system but they will be organized on your hard drive so your windows can access them faster, and of course, this will improve your computer performance.

How can I do Defragmentation?

It's easy, there are many software's that allow's you to do this stuff but most of them are not for free or they are not powerful, however, we are going to use in this tutorial a free software from Iobit called Iobit Smart Defrag 4.

How to use Smart Defrag 4?

I am going to show you in this video how to install and use this software, so hope you like the video and share this post if you liked it!

The blue screen is the most problem that windows users hate, that's why in this post am going to talk about the causes of the blue screen and give you the solution to fix it.

What causes blue screen?

It's most of the time caused by a low-level software crashing or hardware failure, for this reason, the windows restart's automatically whenever you have a BSOD (Blue screen of death).it can be caused by a driver incompatibility or application crashes.

The only thing Windows can do is stop the computer and restart it. This can cause losing your data, as programs don’t have a chance to save them.

When a blue screen occurs, Windows creates instantly a file named minidump that contains information about all the crashes and saves them to your disk. So you can view information about the blue screen and help you to identify the causes and fix it.

How to avoid data loss in case of blue screen?

The best way to avoid data loss is creating a system restore point before installing any new software, especially installing a new antivirus or anti-malware.

if you don't know how to create a restore point here is the steps:

1/ Open System by clicking the Start button, right-clicking Computer, and then click Properties.
In the left pane, click System protection. ...

system restore

2/ Click the System Protection tab and then click Create.
  • The protection on the system partition must be enabled!

system restore 2

3/ In the System Protection dialog box, type a description, and then click Create.

How to find the problem and how to fix it?

To fix this problem try to do a system restore to the previous restore point before that the blue screen appeared.

If this didn't work, try to find the problem details, I recommend using a free software called BlueScreenView v1.55, this will give you exact details about the file that caused the blue screen and the error code so you can fix it by searching on google for a solution.

Because the blue screen can be caused by many different problems, there is no exact solution for it so you should have details about it first and search for the solution.

What to do if you can't open windows again

If you can't login to your windows again, then try to open the Safe mode and use BlueScreenView v1.55 and do the same steps in the How to find the problem and how to fix it part.

Finally and this is the worst case, if you can't open the windows even in the safe mode all that you have to do is formatting your

What is new in the build 11099?

While copying, deleting or moving files there was no progress dialog box shown in previous build.

Log on for devices using Citrix XenDesktop may be broken. If you are using XenDesktop, you should skip this build by moving to the Slow ring.

Applications that depend on Adobe Flash may crash upon launch. This will affect some version of Skype, QQ, WeChat, etc. This does not affect Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer.

With this build, defaults for some applications will be reset. Music & Video will default to Windows Media Player. This can be reconfigured opening Cortana or Search and searching for "Choose default apps by file type" to open the correct settings page.

Windows 10 started rolling out on 29 July 2015 and until this day over 120 million are using windows 10 for many reasons, and the question is Should you upgrade to Windows 10?

Ok, let's talk first about windows 10 new features:

[accordion] [item title="Windows 10 Ready, set, Start menu"]Because many people don't like the windows 8.1 menu, Microsoft decided to add the start menu again to the windows 10 with more features and a new design for the start menu so you will be able to use even a start menu that look's like windows 7 or windows 8 and 8.1.

So when you Select the Start button on the taskbar. You'll find your most used apps on the left, the All apps list, and shortcuts to other locations on your PC, like File Explorer and Settings. [/item] [item title="Cortana"]Cortana is the personal assistant that I don't think that is very useful for me, is right on your desktop so you can ask her to set up a meeting or send an email to a friend or playing music and many other things... [/item] [item title="Microsoft Edge"]Edge is the new web browser developed by Microsoft for windows 10 replacing Internet Explorer as the default web browser on all new devices.

It is designed to be a web browser with a layout engine built around web adds new features such as integration with Cortana, annotation tools, and a reading mode. [/item] [/accordion]
Another nice feature is the Hover over open tabs to preview them, and bring your favorites and reading list with you when you use Microsoft Edge on another device.

The only problem until now is that Microsoft age doesn't have any addons store.

Windows Hello: This is the most feature that I like is The Windows Hello changes how you sign in.however it uses your face or fingerprint instead of a password to login into the Windows.

DirectX 12: Windows 10 may literally change the game in graphics performance as the only Microsoft OS with DirectX 12.

Performance: Windows 10 starts faster, uses less memory, and is being taught new tricks like compressing memory on the fly that Windows 8 will never learn.

I use Windows 10 and I think that you should try it because it's better, faster, and full of features than windows 8 and 7.

And it's free too !
